FEDERAL AND CALIFORNIA POSTERS REQUIRED FOR CALIFORNIA EMPLOYERS :
MANDATORY FEDERAL POSTERS:
FAMILY AND MEDICAL LEAVE ACT OF1993 " (U.S. Dept. of Labor, Employment Standards Div.) This Act pertains to employers having at least 50 employees within 75 miles.
OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ACT - OSHA (29 CFR, Sec. 1903.2 (a)(1)) "Employers must post this notice in a conspicuous place where notices to employees are customarily posted."
FEDERAL MINIMUM WAGE NOTICE (29 USC Sec. 2_06.) Employers subject to the Fair Labor Standards Act must post a notice regarding the federal minimum wage in "conspicuous places in every establishment" where the affected employees can readily observe it on their way to or from work. (Also remember that California Minimum Wage is always higher than the Federal Minimum Wage.
EMPLOYEE POLYGRAPH PROTECTION NOTICE (29 USC Sec 2001.)
EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY COMMISSION/AGE DISCRIMINATION (29 CFR Sec. 1601.30,) "Every employer has an obligation to keep posted in conspicuous places upon its premises notices describing the applicable provisions of Title VII and I the ADA.
MANDATORY STATE POSTERS:
(Labor Code Sec 207.) "Every employer shall keep posted conspicuously at the place of work ... a notice specifying the regular pay days and the time and place of payment..." Violation of this section is a misdemeanor. (Sec. 215)
WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE(Labor Code Sec. 3550(x)) "Every employer subject to the compensation provisions of this division shall post and keep posted in a conspicuous location frequented by employees and where the notice may be easily read..." "Failure to keep any notice ...posted shall constitute a misdemeanor, and shall be prima facie evidence of noninsurance."
(Unemployment Insurance Code Sec. 1089) "Each employer shall post and maintain in places readily accessible to individuals in his service such printed statements concerning benefits ... Failure to comply with this section shall constitute a misdemeanor."
