Information and Company History of the Firm

1. Licensed December 11, 1970 by California Board of Accountancy - License # 16012.
2. This sole proprietorship started in 1980 on Yorba Blvd in Tustin. Prior to that, James E Reynolds CPA had been a partner in two different Orange County CPA firms for a total of about 10 years before moving his practice to Tustin. He has also been controller for two companies, and a sales tax auditor.
3. The practice includes Jim Reynolds CPA handling income tax returns and more complex accounting matters, and Barbara Miller handling client bookkeeping and accounting and office management.
4. Income tax software from Commerce Clearing House called "ProSystem fx" is installed and run on my computers. Updates are received weekly over DSL. This is the software of choice by most of the larger firms.
5. Tax research used is also from CCH. It is updated daily by CCH and accessed by me over the internet. January 14th, 2004 CCH INC. announced its selection as the First Level of Tax Law Research for IRS employees and more than 16,000 field agents.
